As a Client Services Representative, Owen is often one of the first points of contact for clients at Fleming Financial Planning. He ensures that every client receives attentive service whether they are making updates to their accounts, preparing for upcoming meetings, or simply reaching out with questions. Owen supports the team by handling day-to-day operations, meeting preparation, paperwork processing, marketing initiatives, and various compliance-related tasks that keep the practice running smoothly.
Owen is entering his third year in the financial services industry. Before beginning his career in finance, he spent several years working as an ocean kayak tour guide—an experience that taught him how to adapt to constantly changing conditions. He was drawn to the financial services industry because he enjoys supporting clients through strong service and appreciates the long-term relationships built through client engagement and operational support.
Owen graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Marketing. He holds the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE) designation, Series 7, and the Series 66 registration.
Originally from Walnut Creek, California, Owen credits his family with instilling in him the importance of having a plan. From an early age, he learned the values of financial discipline and preparation—principles that continue to guide his approach to serving clients today.
Outside of work, Owen enjoys staying active and taking advantage of California’s outdoors. You can often find him surfing whenever he gets the chance. He first moved to San Diego for college and quickly realized he never wanted to leave. Today, he continues to call the city home and values the community, lifestyle, and opportunities it offers.
